This special event was a joint effort between the Philippine Consulate General of Toronto, the Toronto Police Service and the Flag Raising Committee.

Speakers were Chair Dr. Alok Mukherjee, Acting Chief of Police Keith Forde and Consul General Mosquera.

This is the first time that the Philippine Independence day was celebrated inside Toronto Police headquarters and Infofilipino was fortunate to be invited to this special event by PC Philip Mendoza.
