*New Filipino Immigrant Settlement Service

What is it?
As a Filipino family who migrated to Canada without any relatives and friends, we experienced how tough and expensive it is to move to a new country. How we wish someone was there to guide and help us, as we begin life in our new country, Oh Canada! Now we know, we want to help new Filipinos coming to Canada get settled in their new country by offering temporary housing, transportation and most important, guidance as new Filipino immigrants in Canada.

What is included?

The fee for the service is CA$800 and it includes the following:

- Pick-up from the airport to the temporary housing in Brampton Ontario
- 2 weeks stay for up to **4 people - The pad has its own kitchen, own washroom and furnished. (All utilities are included)
- 1 day - ***Transportation (SIN, Health Card, Drivers License, Child Tax Benefit and School if applicable)
- 1 day - ***Transportation (Bank account, Settlement agency, Employment resource, Library, Groceries or "Pasyal")

*You need to get a 90 day traveller's insurance as you won't be covered by Canada health insurance until you get your health card which is around 90 days. This is strongly advised for new immigrants, you don't want to spend all the money that you brought for hospital bills in case something happens, knock on wood.

***We will be the one driving you around for a maximum of 8 hours during the day specified.
